The most beautiful parrot in all the universe...

Today as I was driving I saw the most beautiful parrot on the side of the road. It was iridescent green, with shinny speckles of silver, and a red so stunning it flamed like a hot coal. As I drove past it didn't fly away or move. Breaks on, I  did a u-bolt, I was going to save that parrot, for surely it was injured.

I parked across the other side of the road, it was even more beautiful this close. A car passed by it, and then it looked up and took flight up to the tall eucalyptus tree above me. mmmmmm, no saving today.

I got out of the car and looked up in the tree. Couldn't find it. It had magic, that parrot.

It took my breath away.

I got back in the car and drove home, with the vision of a magic parrot in my head.

It looked and felt a bit like this John Olsen Painting.

I love this.
