A little touch of fate.

So last weekend we were offered some accommodation for the night from our lovely friends Kylie and Dion. We were off to the coast for the engagement party for Cassie and Jono. I hate staying in motels with a passion of claustrophobia nonsense. So I jumped at the offer. They were selling a property, and the house was empty. This place, just so happened to be next door to where we used to live. Unhuh, they bought the church off the professor.... many years ago. So in a strange twist of fate we spent the night here.

So if you are interested you can link to here to see real estate details.
Promise there are no ghosts of mad professors.
It was beautiful.
And so were the engaged couple. Very happy souls, and after the party antics of others, (if they don't go and elope), the wedding is going to be wonderful day with great entertainment.

Fate is all around us.

  1. I've been thinking a lot about fate/luck lately, and I think it's a lot about taking a chance, jumping in and making something of where you find yourself. If we hadn't have taken a chance on this place we wouldn't have seen the sign for the church, met you guys etc etc and it all just rolls on. Someone is going to be so happy in that wonderful space, almost as happy as those two lovely engaged people!

  3. I've always wanted to live in a church - I like church windows and the big open space, but I don't like going to church. I am really glad every Sunday when I see all the cars outside of churches that I don't go anymore.
