Ever since. part 1.

The barefoot girl stood. What does it mean she thought.

She was tangled in the depths of her childish imagination. Playing out her minds thoughts. Creating. Making something out of sticks, stones and dirt. Maybe pathways and tracks to walk on, and through. Why are we here she thought. She was young. A small child, and as her eyes looked over her work and then out to the hazy view, another plan took place in her head, the next creation, a new adventure. But she needed rope for this one. So her feet took off along the swept track and down the steep bank to the big shed....

  1. ...and following close behind on a few of those trips down the steep path to the big shed, a like minded wisher of well worlds, seeking the potential of ropes and nodules, a few planks of wood and some wispy bits of twig and maybe an old biscuit tin lid. With hands full its off across the paddock, perhaps to the place where the old stones lay half asleep within the earth. Beyond the bracken there, along the animal track to that old tree. A place is made. Leaves are swept, that's the lounge room. Things are placed just so. How does a child know? Creative play is a spirit that yearns for air within us all. Children know this so deeply. When the spirit of creative play is laid to rest as we grow an illness of the heart sets in. Like the land without rain, life indeed persists, but you know deep down what life the waters of creative play can bring. At 40 you are as alive and wonderfilled as you were at 4. Look at this blog. You're world luscious and weird, thoughtful and funny, full of colour with just the right mix of sadness and joy. I loved and still love playing with you in the big sheds of my imagination after all these long years. I will certainly sit within your dome and bring the past to burn xx J

  2. You take my breath away beautiful freind. The words you wrote are intwined with my vision and thoughts. Will see you at the bonfire. Xx

  3. Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an
established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about creating my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Many thanks
