Miss Representation

Yesterday a lovely person left a comment on my post about The paper bag princess book, and then another lovely person left another comment about the fact some one had left a comment on her blog about The paper bag princess too. I really, really, REALLY hope that means a movement of change. A revolution maybe? Now that would be awesome!

Watch this below, and you will know, what the hell on am on about......

If you could spread this, to where ever you are able, it would help the sway of movement.

Our 3 year old daughter said to me the other day.."everyone will love me in this pretty dress, wont they Mum.?"....... " NO, they wont" I said  " They will LOVE you no matter what kind of clothes you are wearing".

PLEDGE HERE

Thanks Kirsty and Jenny. A beautiful chain reaction.

  2. I know I am proud of being a women's libber. The objectification of women goes on. We still have a long way to go

  3. . . . wow . . . powerfully presented. I love how one woman explains that the media is packaging what they want us to know while saying the content is what we want . . . uh, no, it's not. I also think it's amazingly important how Katz talks about concern for the development of boys too. Wow, and Newson's comment about how we Americans have less women in government than a lot of countries we usually assume have no place for women in power. Thank you for this post. :)
