Life from here.

I have joined in with Pam from Blood Signs.... for a link up of photos showing a little of life from here. She is a beautiful, thoughtful, clever writer. I adore reading her words. Her world is a contrast to mine, as in... she's deep in snow at this moment, whilst we swelter it out here. The world is just plain weird sometimes.

Where we spent a lovely New years eve. With friends and their beautiful
new land.

Today Wayne went back to work and that really sucked. But these holidays were filled with magic

and wonder. Just so beautiful.

It's also monday music here at a sculptured life..... so heres a little something....

what's it about?

Scrap.

Beautiful unique junk of the world. It makes the best things. In its imperfect left over state, it can fit together to make the most extraordinary creations. Wayne's the sculptor, maker, welder and doer of good things.

There's another kind of scrap too. It's me. A friend once told me that her mother referred to her as being made of the left over scraps. I feel the same. But now re-read the above paragraph of my explanation of scrap, and you too will understand why I feel anything but ordinary. I'm the contemplating, naval gazing writer, thinker and sometimes Artist.

So enjoy your perusing of this little dark, and not so dark creative blabbing blog.

art is movement, sounds, images and creations. art is everywhere, its when our daughter lines the tupperware in patterns all over the floor or draws lines in the sand. Its when our son hangs wire from a tree that suspends and old fan cage that holds his tools. Its all through wayne's shed and all contained in my head. It can be written on a wall and be crass or colorful.

Art is expression and it could never be contained within a frame...its ugly and its beautiful, its what goes on inside our head then gets spat out when we have had enough. It can be written it can be danced, it can be said and sometimes painted. Its all over and when we open our eyes and our hearts its all we will ever see.....
