A mind like a lizard and feet like the earth.

My mind is like a lizard, seeking out the sun. To lay perfectly still and bare my skin and warm the flow of blood. 

My heart is like an eagle, soaring and dipping to seek its prey, to find the sustenance it needs to be nourished.

My eyes are like the mountains. Shaded  with greens, and shrouded with mist that hides the hard rocky outcrops. 

My feet are like the earth. Holding everything up and together,  but worn, cracked and tired. 

I am like a soul clasped on to the clouds, caught in the wind of life. Floating, amassing and then eventually... disappearing. 

Life is like dew jewels on a spider web. Superbly beautiful, but not forever.
